• Returning to the Capital you informed the King and made your way to Brigit. As you all settled into your night of sleep.

Sylvania

• Frosco is waiting for the party the following morning
  • What happened in Sylvania?
  • I have been contacted by the Council, I am to attend an emergency meeting. The entire settlement had nightmares.

If the party return to Danu, they are to provide a full account to the Council

• What do the party know about what took place?
• Do the party know the leader
• Do the party know what activities were going on leading up to this?

If the party return to Sylvania, they are met by Asé. He grows concerned. No sign of Essence and she is his way back to report on the disturbing events. They need to be reported, they may have a way to stop this from escalating.

If the party press on to Fjorynn then

Second night of sleep - Nightmares intensify.

• Keph - You... you recognise the terrain? The ground beneath your feet, the mountain range in the distance. There is no forest. Nothing. This place looks... uninhabitable by nature. It is BARREN.
• Elswyth - Again, Meylistra. Glowing as if she were the moon itself. Forsaken, forsaken you are. Cursed. Everywhere you go, there is destruction and ruin. You forsake us, and our cause
• Djinn - It's black, you hear the chanting... "kheyuton vey, keyhuton vey, kyeyuton vey" and open your eyes as you feel yourself being pulled out of water. Gasping for breath, you look into the stern and concerned eyes of a male drow elf. "Praise they gods you live, child. What happened?"
• Zanotah - You are falling. rapidly. Oh this is bad, you're out of control and you're in AGONY. Your wings.. they're... torn. Damn. How far have you fallen? This is going to hurt... hang on, is that a tree there? Can that help slow me down at all? It's better than plummeting to straight rock right? Surely... You try and use your battered wings to angle yourself towards the tree. It all goes black

• Individual nightmares and hallucinations
  • Keph, you are back in your forest. Each tree you reach out to is dead to your touch. The leaves falling off, the branches melting into a black ichor. Eventually the ichor is up to your ankles, your knees. You try to move your feet but it's too thick, you try to swim. It's no use. The ichor continues to rise....
  • Zanotah - Your eyes open, you are... beneath a familiar tree. Have you seen this tree before? Everything HURTS. You have vague recollections of a wood elf, of a drow, of a blue genasi. Who are they? Are they familiar? Can't be, you don't know their names. Don't know anything about them. Come to think of it, who are you? Why are you here? After a few agonising moments your eyes blink and you wake up in a cold sweat.
  • Djinn - Your eyes open and water surrounds you. You panic and begin to flail, not knowing which way is up you swim desperately. You notice your hands are... red. You press on, not finding the surface, in desperation you pick another direction and swim. You begin to feel the need to breathe and the panic intensifies. You don't know how much longer you can hold on, scrabbling to find the surface.. you attempt to breath and just inhale water.. are you closer to the surface than before? Further? As the world fades into black... you wake up GASPING for breath.. a concerned and worried Jeremiah stood by you.
  • Elswith - You see, the radiant image of Meylistra stood before you. Her eternally soft smile fades and is replaced with an expression of disgust. You dare say you worship me? You have dishonoured me, you have shamed yourself. YOU BRING SHAME TO US ALL.
