World Creation

Millenia ago, as the universe formed and the raw energy of creation began forming the material plane and Velandor. As life began and civilisation evolved over time a number of beings rose to power to rule and guide over Velandor. There were 9 who formed a council to rule and encourage growth across Velandor working collaboratively in the planet's best interests.

In the 27^th year of this council the world itself was struck by a meteor. The origins and makeup of this were unknown to the world at the time. It was brought before the council for inspection as they discussed the threat of this happening again. The meteor was infused with the raw essence of creation. As each of the leaders came into contact with the meteor they took on a portion of it’s power until the meteor became inert.

The council members were infused with the divine power of creation and became the first pantheon of gods across Velandor.
