Davian Martikov - Druid @ winery

Drew:

Drew:

As you enter the winery, you are greeted by a familiar hunched and gre haired druid. Davian Martikov.

"Ah, Drew. So nice to see you again. You seem... different. What can I do for you?"

As you explain why you were there and the advice you are seeking, his stance changes, he leans a little less on his staff and stands a little taller with a serious look on his face.

"I see. Well Drew, I cannot say that the task before you will be easy. It may well be the most dangerous you've faced so far. But from what I understand you, and your party, have done much groundwork against him. Much more than anyone in the history of these lands has accomplished. There is little I can provide in way of meaningful advice I'm afraid, what I can say however is that when vampires are nearing death in a traditional sense, they turn to mist and return to their resting place. Find his resting place Drew, find that and when the time is right you'll know where to find him and put an end to this."

He pauses for a moment and looks to you, the intensity of this look is unnerving and uncomfortable for a moment before he continues.

"For you however, have faith in yourself. I can sense the power and potential within has grown much since we last spoke. In moments where your faith waivers, look to your companions and draw your strength and faith from them."

His expression at this point softens as a grin spreads across his face and with an almost mischievous look he says

"Also, I find standing barefoot on grass, mud or earth and wiggling my toes really helps to ground me again."

And with that he invites you out to a spot hidden within the many rows of grapes in the winery's orchard. As you sit down on the earth here, he produces a tea set from beneath his robes and pours a cup of herbal tea for you both.

"Take a moment Drew and have this drink with me. A toast if you will, to the future. To the end of his reign. But more importantly, right here and now, to moments of tranquility and calm"

And as you sit there, enjoying this calming tea surrounded by nature and undisturbed by anything. You realise, this is the first time in a long time you've been able to sit down and relax.
